Cellular Dynamics is collaborating with several pharmaceutical partners to develop and deploy a number of cell types derived from induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells to aid drug discovery and toxicity testing. Currently CDI markets iCell Cardiomyocytes, human heart cells, iCell Endothelial Cells, human blood vessel cells, and iCell Neurons, human brain cells, in the high quality, quantity, and purity required within discovery research.
