This Specialist position requires a motivated and self-directed individual to contribute to our ongoing efforts to make human stem cell tools.  

Skills and responsibilities:

• Culture stem cells.
• Quantify cellular differentiation using multiple molecular and cellular analyses.
• Perform general laboratory duties.
• Report experimental plans and results both orally and in writing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of biology is required.
• Previous experience in molecular biology and sterile mammalian culture. 
• Possess initiative, ability to multi-task, and a desire to acquire new technical skills.
• Experience operating within a team-based multidisciplinary environment is desirable.
• Skills in database management, record keeping and organization.  
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
