Senior Scientist/Group Leader - Neural  

This Senior Scientist/Group Leader - Neural position will contribute to our ongoing efforts to make human stem cell tools, focusing on neural cell differentiation.  

Skills and responsibilities:

• Organize and lead a group of scientists in efforts to developmethods for neural cell differentiation from iPS cells.
• Culture stem cells with neural differentiation and characterization.
• Define project goals and experimental design to achieve project goals, and organize and communicate experimental results.

Qualifications:

• A PhD degree in a related field, with at least four years post-doctoral experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Two years prior experience managing a team of scientists.
• Excellent cell culture and molecular biology background.
• hES or iPS cell culture experience, with experience differentiating stem cells into the neural lineage.
• Applicants should possess initiative, the ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to acquire new technical skills.  
• Project planning and experience operating in a team-based, multidisciplinary environment is desirable.
